Dana Lorge

was raised on Long Island and built a wide-ranging career as a singer, comedienne, actress, and cabaret performer, appearing in nightclubs from New York to Tokyo. She performed in Atlantic City with entertainers including Kaye Ballard, Sheila MacRae, and Sal Richards, and appeared on Broadway in Grind with Ben Vereen and Off-Broadway in the title role of Aunt Chooch’s Birthday.

Dana’s film credits included Prince of the City, Moscow on the Hudson, The Object of My Affection, The Producers, and Confessions of a Shopaholic. A longtime presence in New York cabaret, she performed at Don’t Tell Mama and became a popular host and producer of variety shows at the Iguana and Metropolitan Room. Dana continued entertaining audiences until shortly before her passing in 2016.
