Born in Washington, D.C., Jackie Miller Abrams was discovered on a Florida beach by celebrated pin-up photographer Bunny Yeager. In the 1950s, she became a Latin Quarter showgirl while pursuing a successful modeling career, later working with Irving Klaw and other notable photographers.

Jackie’s varied career also included film, television, theater and comedy. She performed in Sherry Britton’s The Best of Burlesque, co-hosted Broadway After Dark on radio, and produced and hosted local television programs. She married producer Charles Abrams and, following his passing, later remarried a longtime friend.
